Full description

BUT SEE ST21SE/27, Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV115059.

Vis=7/3/1995 (emafu) densely-planted conifer plantation with slightly undulating surface and rare pits c.2.5m diam; the rest is undulating ground. Very stony, virtually no topsoil, ground covered with chert indicating quarrying? no eivdence of iron slag or ore in exposed stores (but see st21se/27)(ea).

Featureless conifer plantation, very stony with virtually no topsoil. The stone consisted entirely of chert fragments with no evidence of ore or slag. There were rare pit-like depressions but these may have been caused by uprooting trees.
