BIRD + HIRST, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV221965.

Brimpts north mine mill. Structures between leat and stamps loading mound. Two low rectangular mounds faced with granite moorstone, one 1m by 1.5m, the other 1.5m by 3.3m. From their positioning, these should be supports for the launder carrying water from the sluice in the leat to the waterwheel, but this is not certain. They could alternatively have been bases for equipment connected with the flat-rod system (bird + hirst).
