Brimpts north mine mill. An area originally flat, but now sloping down to the damaged wheelpit, 6.5m by 4.5m, bounded to n by the loading mound, to e by the wheelpit and to w by a low retaining wall up to 0.5m high, is all that remains of the stamps site. Reports in mining journal record 6 head of stamps here in the 1853-5 period (bird + hirst).
