BIRD + HIRST, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV221965.

Brimpts north mine mill. Rectangular pit. S of the lower dressing floor and its drain is a 8m by 4m shallow rectangular depression which seems likely to have been a settling pond for waste from the lower dressing floor. There is, however, no obvious connection between this pond and the covered drain leading from the floor (bird + hirst).
