Full description

Francis, P., 1995, Blackdown Hills Airfield Survey. Dunkeswell and Upottery, No. 52, Fig. 23 (Report - Survey). SDV312951.

Building 137. Gas chamber. Construction: rendered 4.5 inch brick walls and piers at ten feet centres supporting 28 feet span steel trusses carrying corrugated asbestos roof sheeting. Function: awareness and practice of the effects of gas, rooms included lachrymatory generator store and gas chamber. Building in good condition, current use unknown.
