Summary

Aircraft maintenance workshops (usn supply) construction: cold-rolled fabricated steel arched-shaped ribs made in three parts creating a span of 40 feet and spaced at four feet centres to form a building 100 feet long. Clad with corrugated iron sheeting. Function: one of two huts that functioned as power plant assembly and aero engine store while the other was probably an aircraft instrument repair shop. Originally belonging to a large group of american prefabricated hutting dedicated to aircraft maintenance. All of these were built close to 't2' hangar (francis).
