Summary

Fusing point building. Construction: universal asbestos handcraft hut - trough shaped asbestos sheeting forming a seven-sided building fixed to a brick kerb. No end walls provided. Function: tractor and bomb trolley train drove through the fusing point building on its way to the aircraft out on dispersal, pausing inside the hut so that each trolley load could be fused in turn. Now in poor condition, used as a tractor garage. Originally three buildings on this site (francis). Comments.
