Summary

A low, stony mound situated on a NW facing slope overlooking the Colly Brook.
This turf-covered mound of small stones stands to a maximum height of 0.35m. It is"comma"-shaped, with an oval head 6.2m by 4.4m, and a tail on the downhill side 3.2m by 2.3m. There is a slight depression in the main part. It is possibly a damaged cairn with original dimensions in the order of 7.6m by 6.2m.

(17/11/1987) SX 5478 7789: a low, stony mound situated on a NW facing slope overlooking the Colly Brook.
This turf-covered mound of small stones stands to a maximum height of 0.35m. It is "comma"-shaped, with an oval head 6.2m by 4.4m, and a tail on the downhill side 3.2m by 2.3m. There is a slight depression in the main part.
It is possibly a damaged cairn with original dimensions in the order of 7.6m by 6.2m.
