Milestone 5 of the Haytor granite tramway. Sited on bank beside trackway.

(Visited 05/08/2010) Granite milestone set into the side of the slope, about 3.0 metres away from the remains of the tramway. Stone slightly tapers towards the top, dimensions are: 0.98 metres in height, 0.47 metres in width, tapering to 0.15 metres at top, 0.20 metres deep. Inscribed with the number ‘5’. One photograph taken. Photographic record is held by Natural England.
