Summary

Seven pillow mounds and associated ditches. The mounds are described in detail within the National Trust Upper Plym inventory. In addition the Monument Protection Programme fieldwork revealed that National Trust No. 102 403 was revetted at the upper end. These mounds lie within a very boggy area and it is felt in this instance, that some at least of the ditches associated with the mounds were excavated primarily as drains.

Seven pillow mounds and associated ditches. The mounds are described in detail within the National Trust Upper Plym inventory. In addition the Monument Protection Programme fieldwork revealed that National Trust No. 102 403 was revetted at the upper end. These mounds lie within a very boggy area and it is felt in this instance, that some at least of the ditches associated with the mounds were excavated primarily as drains.
