Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 140776. (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Visited on 14th June 1996. Four enclosed hut circles forming part of a discrete concentration of structures which together with other nucleations form a large settlement complex. The buildings each survive as a stone and earth bank surrounding a circular or oval internal area. All are of the simple plan type and 2 have visible doorways.
Hut circle 'c' at SX62659059. A 1.5 metres wide double orthostat wall standing up to 1.2 metres high surrounds an oval interior measuring 5.6 metres by 4.6 metres. This hut is orientated east-north-east to west-south-west. A north-east facing gap in the surrounding wall flanked on the south-east by a leaning orthostat and on the north-west by 2 recumbent edge set stones represents the doorway. A short length of orthostatic walling leads west from this hut.
