Vis=14/6/1996 (gerrard) nine enclosed hut circles survive as a stone + earth bank surrounding a circular or oval internal area. All are of the simple plan type, 2 have visible doorways, 7 are linked by and 2 are attached to the enclosure boundary wall.

Vis=14/6/1996 (gerrard) nine enclosed hut circles survive as a stone + earth bank surrounding a circular or oval internal area. All are of the simple plan type, 2 have visible doorways, 7 are linked by and 2 are attached to the enclosure boundary wall.
Hut a [sx62659084]. A 1.5m wide and 0.7m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds a 3.6m diam internal area. This building is butted by the enclosure wall. A curving rubble bank leads n from this hut.
Hut b [sx62709082]. A 1.2m wide and 0.5m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds a 3.1m diam internal area. This building abuts the inner face of the enclosure wall.
Hut c [sx62699080]. A 1.3m wide and 0.4m high single orthostat + rubble bank wall surrounds a 3.4m diam internal area. This building is butted by the enclosure wall.
Hut d [sx62699079]. A 1.6m wide and 0.7m high single orthostat + rubble bank wall surrounds a 4.8m diam internal area. This building is butted by the enclosure wall.
Hut e [sx62679078]. A 1.7m wide and 0.6m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds a 3.9m diam internal area. This hut is butted by the enclosure wall.
Hut f [sx62659078]. A 1.2m wide and 0.4m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds an oval interior measuring 3.4m by 2.7m. This hut is orientated nnw to sse and is attached to the enclosure wall.
Hut g [sx62649079]. A 1.4m wide and 0.6m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds an oval interior measuring 4.7m by 3m. A sse facing gap flanked on both sides by orthostats represents a doorway. This building is orientated sse to nnw and is butted by the enclosure wall.
Hut h [sx62619080]. A 1.7m wide and 0.6m high single orthostat and earthwork wall surrounds an oval interior measuring 4.7m by 3m. The building is orientated wnw to ese and is butted by the enclosure wall.
Hut i [sx62639084]. A 1.9m wide and 0.5m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds an oval interior measuring 4m by 3m. A sse facing gap flanked on both sides by orthostats represents a doorway. The building is orientated nnw to sse and is butted by the enclosure wall (mpp).
