Limestone quarry mentioned in a deed of 1816 as belonging to Druidshayne.

A notice in the Sherborne Mercury, dated 19/02/1798, advertises the sale of the unexpired term of the lease of the estates of Westbrook and Druishayne, including a rock of excellent lime, a limekiln and a rivulet of water. In 1816, Druidshayne Quarry and kiln belonged to the Combehead Estate, at which time the owner of the estate, Daniel Badcock, leased it together with other properties to Thomas Tidboald.
