Clist, B., 1988?, Untitled Source (Monograph). SDV36894.

The parish poorhouse formerly stood in the churchyard. It became a school and meeting house. Demolished "a few years before" 1895.

The workhouse is shown in the southeast corner of the churchyard on the 1841 Hemyock tithe map.
