Summary

Main electrical sub-station. Construction: permanent unrendered brick walled enclosure with rendered brick transformer house with pitched roof of corrugated asbestos. Function: this was station's main electrical intake sub-station, from here the in-coming east devon electricity company ltd supply was converted to a lower pressure air ministry supply. Now used as a cow shed, therefore unable to look inside (plate 20) (francis).
