'Obstacle Course' recorded as a U-shaped feature on original US plans of the Assault Training Centre.

An 800 yard course situated on the golf course south of the club house. Horse-shoe-shaped circuit ten yards wide to be run five abreast. The 19 individual obstacles are itemised.

'Obstacle Course' in Area 'D' of the World War II US Assault Training Centre on Braunton Burrows was not located during fieldwork in 2005. The 19 Obstacles are described and include a concrete wall, ditch, hurdles, a cable walk and various barbed wire obstacles.
