HER Number:MDV57351
Name:LEAT in the Parish of Walkhampton

Summary

Vis=-/10/1996 (gerrard) the ills would both have originally been served by leats, but only the one leading to the right bank mill survives. The reason why the left bank mill leat no longer survives is unclear, but it may be that water was originally carried within a wooden launder. It is also possible that the leat survives only as a buried feature (gerrard).
