Visited on 16th November 1994. The huts lie in a distinct line and although not apparently linked by a boundary, one may have once existed and now survives as a buried feature. The huts are of simple plan and conjoined type and survive as stone and earth banks surrounding a circular internal area.
Hut circle 'a' at SX55697639. Interior measures 6.5 metres in diameter and is surrounded by a 1.4 metres wide and 1 metres high single orthostat wall. Doorway faces south and is flanked on both sides by slabs. A small 1 metres diameter and 0.3 metres high stony mound lies immediately to the east of the doorway.
