Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 143919 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

(16/11/1994) One of seven pillow mounds situated within a historic field system. They survive as flat topped, oval mounds of soil and stone surrounded on four sides by the ditch from which construction material was quarried. See related records for other mounds.
Pillow mound F [SX 5553759?8] measures 6m by 4m and 0.8m high. The ditch measures 1.3m wide by 0.15m deep.
Gerrard shows this mound roughly level with D and E on his plan, so seems unlikely to be placed as far to the north as his recorded grid reference suggests [Richards, A, R., 30/08/2022].

Butler, J., 1991, Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities: Volume Two - The North, Map 30 (Monograph). SDV219155.

Historic England, 2022, National Heritage List for England, 1016148 (National Heritage List for England). SDV364675.

The scheduling includes 12 pillow mounds which form part of Merrivale Warren.
