Summary
A leat 1.5m wide, 0.6m deep is taken off the East Dart River at SX 64427930 and runs south at the foot of a river terrace to SX 64457913, where its course has been destroyed by the Drift Lane. It recommences on the western side of the lane at SX 64447908 proceeding southwards through a pasture field and visible as a terrace way about 4.8m wide cut into the slope, with an uphill scarp 0.8m wide 0.2m high. A central channel is 1m wide and 0.1m deep with a much spread outer bank 3m wide 0.2m high on the east. It crosses under a field wall and is lost in reed and marsh covered rough ground at about SX 64447902.
