British merchant screw steamer 'Electra'. Wrecked 6 to 7 miles west-north-west of Hartland Point in 1916, following collision with SS Margaret. Iron built by Readhead & Co, South Shields, 1876. Construction: 2 cylinder 20" 39" 30": 65 NHP, 1 x SB. Registered Liverpool. On Passage form Port talbot to Dieppe in coal. Master: Wood. Owner: Coombs. Crew: 12.
