Vis=26/3/1997 + 2/4/1997 (ea) darker marks within grass visible from distance on mid-upper slope of n tip of hill to nw of west castle park.2 features are visible: the most southerly appears as an annular dark mark with a gap in its s side. The feature a short distance to the n is a more irregular shape, appearing possibly circular on its w side, with a concentric mark around the outside, whereas e side appears rather more square - although not clearly visible due to distorted viewing angle.

The cropmarks recorded by the above authority were not identified during the South Devon to Dartmoor aerial investigation and mapping survey. It is probable that the cropmarks were non-archaeological in origin.
