The Poitieros, a French Steel Screw Steamer torpedoed 4 miles south-east of Hartland Point in 1918. Registered at Nantes. Built in 1917 by Superior SB Co at W Superior. Triple 3 cylinder, 274 horsepower, 2 x SB (built by Detroit Sb Co., USA). Owner, Cie Francaise de Chemins. Master, D. Fitzpatrick. Departed from St. Nazaire.
