Native. Irish merchant schooner stranded w of hartland quay, 1847. Wooden sailing vessel. Registered cork. Kinsale to newport carrying 137 sheep, 50 lambs, 2 horses, 5 crew, 20 passengers. Master: j. M'intyre. Driven ashore c.2 miles w of hartland quay. Only one horse saved (nmr).
