Site visited on 14th April 1950. Hut within the first enclosure at Black Tor, Shipley Bridge. Diameter 7.0 metres in fair condition; entrance to the south-east.

The eastern enclosure contains 15 stone hut circles of varying size. Five are attached to the enclosure wall, the rest are scattered within the interior towards the north and west. Two of the hut circles are conjoined and one of these has a dividing interior wall.
