LARN, 1974, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV8891.
Nb: nmr give ngr ss456263. Lost 5/1/1867. In ballast for newport she was running up channel at night when another vessel was sighted dead ahead. Captain clover called out to her 'port your helm!' did the same himself, but the other vessel went to starboard and the 2 ships collided. Locked together by a fouled anchor, they drifted for over a mile, during which time glover attempted to ascertain the name of the other vessel but her crew refused to tell him. Mary was taken in tow by the schooner polacco, and managed to reach suanton sands, where she went to pieces (larn, 1974).
