The square branscombe. Site of nestle munition factory. Part of factory building survives, the original pre-war building, though the wartime extensions are gone.214 women employed in 1943 making shell cases and aeroplane components. The factory was moved from holloway, n london, to the garage in branscombe square, early in the war (dob worksheet).
