Summary
Mucks hole gate, postbridge. A rough cake of impure tin found during repairs to a fence. Close to site of stannon brook blowing house. The tin had been cast in an improvised mould, probably a hole in the ground. Not cast in the mouldstone which is the wall which passes close by the smelting place. The tin may have been stolen from the furnace (burnard).
