Summary
A series of parallel cropmark ditches and banks interpreted as former medieval or post-medieval field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947, to the northeast of Nethercott, Chawleigh. Other field boundaries (MDV121470) were also recorded in the vicinity, albeit on a different alignment.

Full description
LONG GRASS FOR SILAGE, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV53917.
Parallel boundaries and enclosure n of former site of upcott. Site identified on ap and described as 'old field boundaries: linear arrangement of parallel boundaries'. One has a small square enclosure attached. Nothing is visible on the ground (long grass for silage) has been ploughed (nmr, citing palmer and simpson).
