Gomerock 'Structure E'. To the southwest of the tower-house lies a narrow terrace and a short length of revetment or parapet wall. The terrace is approximately 3 metres wide in front of the main entrance but narrows to only 1.35 metres at the southern corner of the building. Flagstones remain in situ over much of the terrace, but only a small section of the wall has survived. The vertically-stacked stones at the top of the wall, which comprises lime-mortared local shale, suggest that the surviving height represents the original height, only circa 0.5 metres higher than the terrace.
