Anti-aircraft gun position at Bolt Head.3 light machine guns documented 20/6/1942 to 26/1/1943. Also a single 40mm AA gun in January 1943 (Dobinson). Other details: AAI.

Several structures and an embanked area are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1949 They are arrayed along the boundaries of a field, with what appear to be three hut bases and a small reverse-L-shaped structure in the north, some smaller structures in the west and an embanked walled area with small structure at the corner of a field boundary. The complex is in the vicinity of the 1942-1943 Bolt Head anti-aircraft battery recorded just to the south at SX71093810, and tentatively interpreted as huts, ammunition stores and gun position. They are not visible on later available aerial photographs.
