Full description

Department for Culture, Media and Sport, 1998, Standing Stone 190m South of The Old Lighthouse, Lundy (Schedule Document). SDV345188.

A standing stone to the south of Beacon Hill, 190 metres south of The Old Lighthouse, Lundy. The stone stands 1 metre high and measures 1.3 metres wide and 0.4 metres thick. It is oriented north to south. It is not earthfast, in common with other examples on Lundy, but packed instead with small stones beneath and around the base to support it. The stone is one of a group of nine stones recorded on Lundy, all of which are to be found across the southern part of the island. Map object based on this Source.
