Several linear cropmarks of probable ditched features are visible on aerial photographs of 1989 to the north-west of Shuffshayes Farm. The date and function of the features are uncertain. However they partly overlie the remains of a large quarry of probable modern date, and it is therefore possible that they are field drains of modern date installed to aid drainage from the former quarry pit.
