'Shaft' shown on 19th century map as a small rectilinear feature in the southwest corner of the field.

Shaft shown at the south end of the field on 19th century map and as 'Stone' on early 20th century map. It may be that a large stone had been used to cap the shaft, which is probably related to Devon Great Consols.
