Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 144148 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Visited on 8th July 1997. A standing stone situated beside a cairn lying west of Bellever Tor and forming an outlying part of a cairn cemetery.

Historic England, 2022, National Heritage List for England, 1018508 (National Heritage List for England). SDV364675.

The monument, which falls into two areas of protection, includes two cairns, one containing a cist, and a standing stone lying on a gentle west facing slope; prior to afforestation they would have overlooked the valley of the Cherry Brook. An upright stone slab situated 6.6 metres east-south-east of the cairn may be a contemporary standing stone. The stone measures 0.95 metres high and 0.8 metres wide at the base, tapering to 0.2 metres wide at the top. It is 0.28 metres thick and its long axis points towards the cairn.
