Hut circle shown on 19th century map.

Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within the Kestor coaxial field system. Hut measures 6.4 metres by 5.9 metres. Double orthostat wall 1.4 metres wide, 0.75 metres high. Internal area 37.76 metres. Composed of large orthostats. Door faces 183 degrees and is partly filled by 3 large rocks. Tree in north-west wall.

Hut circle '7' of 5.9 metres diameter in the northern corner of a small triangular enclosure within a rectangular field at 'Kes Tor settlement'.

(11/10/1991) Centred SX 66458678. Three hut circles situated within several small enclosures on the moderate north-west facing slope of Chagford Common, 100 metres south-east of Round Pound. The huts are all terraced into the slope and vary in diameter from 4.9 metres to 8.8 metres. There are no obvious entrances.
All the huts are slightly ovoid and the diameters are averages for each hut.
