Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 149115, 1/4/1997 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within the Kestor coaxial field system. Hut measures 9 metres by 8 metres. Single orthostat wall 1.1 metre wide, 0.6 metres high. Internal area 72 metres. Several gaps in the wall, but no obvious doorway.

Two circular banks at '6' within a small curved enclosure in the south-eastern corner of a rectangular field at 'Kes Tor settlement'. The smaller circle is of 4.6 metres diameter and the larger of circa 9.0 metres diameter which may have been a simple animal pen.

(11/10/1991) Centred SX 66458678. Three hut circles situated within several small enclosures on the moderate north-west facing slope of Chagford Common, 100 metres south-east of Round Pound. The huts are all terraced into the slope and vary in diameter from 4.9 metres to 8.8 metres. There are no obvious entrances.
All the huts are slightly ovoid and the diameters are averages for each hut.

(15/01/2019) Condition of enclosure and huts assessed by volunteer recorders as moderate, although gorse encroachment is severe in places, particularly affecting the pound walls. This hut was not definitively located.
