Hut circle of 6.3 metres diameter with walls 1.2 metres wide by 0.9 metres high forming part of a prehistoric settlement within the Kestor coaxial field system. The reave appears to change alignment slightly to abut this hut.

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. A. J. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(11/10/1991) SX 6662 8660. A solitary hut circle on the gentle east-facing slope of Chagford Common 320m north-north-east of Castor Rock. Its well constructed boulder and slab walls 1.8m wide and 0.95m high enclose an area 6.3m in diameter. The site has been terraced, there is no obvious entrance.
This hut adjoins part of the Castor Parallel System and was previously recorded under SX 68 NE 14. (See RCHME 1991 'Castor Survey' at 1:2500 scale).

(02/04/1997) SX 6661 8660 Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within the Kestor coaxial field system. Diameter 6.3m. Double orthostat wall 1.2m wide, 0.9m high. Internal area 31.15m. The reave appears to change alignment slightly to abut this hut. A 75 degree facing gap may represent a doorway.
