Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. A. J. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(11/10/1991) SX 6656 8647. A single hut circle situated in the corner of a long rectangular enclosure 180m north of Castor Rock. It is square in plan with upright slab walls 5.1m long. The site is terraced and there is no obvious entrance.
This hut and associated enclosure lie within the Castor Parallel Reave System. Hut formerly recorded under SX 68 NE 14.

(02/04/1997) SX 6655 8645 A square structure attached to a reave within the Kestor coaxial field system. Measures 5m by 5m. Double orthostat and rubble wall 1.2m wide, 0.9m high. A square structure butting the reaves. Composed of large rocks. Probably of historic date although it may originally have been a hut which has seen some alterations.
