Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. A. J. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(11/10/1991) SX 6656 8628. A possible hut circle adjacent to a reave 10m east of Castor Rock. It is represented by a crude circle of stones enclosing an area 3.0m in diameter. The site has not been levelled and there is no obvious entrance. (See RCHME 1991 'Castor Survey' at 1:2500 scale).

(02/04/1997) SX 6656 8627 A structure attached to a reave within the Kestor coaxial field system. Rectangular. Measures 3m by 2.4m. Single orthostat wall 1.3m wide, 0.7m high. A structure abutting a reave. Probably of historic date although it may originally have been a hut which has seen some alterations.
