Full description
Horner, W., 1998, Leas Foot Sand Pillbox (Worksheet). SDV357460.
Site visited on 23rd October 1998. Polygonal concrete block-built pillbox set into the top of the beach cliff on the south side of Leas Foot Sand. Two faces, each with a single loophole visible facing north-west and north-north-west. Flat concrete roof partially exposed, flush with turf. Entrance in depression at rear (south).

Well dug-in pillbox on south side of Leas Foot Sand. Concrete block construction. Polygonal, with two faces, each with a light machine gun/rifle loophole visible and oriented northwest and NNW. Concrete roof exposed, flush with turf. Loopholes are above beach cliff. Rear entrance still open and accessible in a depression.
