At SX 6562 9065. Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within a coaxial field system on Throwleigh Common. Diameter 4.6 metres. Rubble wall 1.8 metres wide, 0.5 metres high. Internal area 16.61. A 140 degree facing gap may represent a doorway.

Contained within the same enclosure as hut 9. The hut has a diameter of 5.2 metres with a bank of 2.5 metres thick by 0.4 metres high. The hut has a level interior and there is much displaced stone although two very small possible door jambs survive in situ.

Site visited 4/07/2017. Plotted using GPS (SX65657 90674). Area was densely vegetated and highly overgrown with bracken. Difficult to gain access to centre of circle due to the vegetation so GPS reading taken from edge of circle. Hard to find the circle due to excess vegetation and grass growing over rocks.
