At SX65619065. Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within a coaxial field system on Throwleigh Common. Diameter 4.5 metres. Rubble wall 1.8 metres wide, 0.45 metres high. A 127 degree facing gap may represent a doorway.

Built against a wall on the interior of a rectangular enclosure. The hut is a 6.6 metre diameter stony ring with a level interior. The bank is 2 metres thick by 0.3 metres high though the structure appears disturbed.

Site visited 4/07/2017. Plotted using GPS (SX65639 90680). Area was densely vegetated and highly overgrown with bracken. Difficult to gain access to centre of circle due to the vegetation so GPS reading taken from edge of circle. Hard to find the circle due to excess vegetation and grass growing over rocks.
