Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement within a coaxial field system on Throwleigh Common. At SX6568 9108 Diameter 6.3 metres. Rubble wall 2.2 metres wide, 0.75 metres high. Internal area measures 31.15 metres. A 155 degree facing and 1 metre wide doorway is defined on either side by edge set slabs.

A possible, though much smaller hut. It comprises a stony turf covered low mound with a central hollow. The maximum spread of the mound is 6.5 metres by 0.4 metres high and the hut may have been 4.5 metres in diameter.

Site visited 4/07/2017 and plotted using GPS (SX65677 91096). Area was densely vegetated and highly overgrown with bracken. Hard to find the circle due to excess vegetation and grass growing over rocks. Difficult to gain access to centre of circle due to the vegetation so GPS reading taken from edge of circle.
