Summary
Historic shelter of 5 metres by 3 metres with walls 1.1 metres wide by 0.6 metres high on the eastern slope of Kennon Hill. A south-south-east facing entrance is protected by a 1.8 metres long by 0.7 metres wide porch wall. The rectangular shape of this building suggests that it may belong to the historic period, although it could possibly be a prehistoric hut.

Full description

(10/04/1997) SX 6505 8974 Historic shelter on the eastern slope of Kennon Hill. Building orientated at 65 degrees. 5m by 3.5m. Single orthostat and rubble wall 1.1m wide, 0.6m high. A south-south-east facing entrance protected by a 1.8m long and 0.7m wide porch wall. The rectangular shape of this building suggests that it may belong to the historic period, although it could possibly be a Prehistoric hut.
