Whiteaway, T., Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV34302.

Vis=28/1/1997 (whiteaway) group of 7 fields forming a small hill. Owner related that soil was poor for crop growing and whilst levelling had noted infilled hollows + ash/burnt material. Fragments of oyster shell projecting from hedgebank. Fields have recently been sub-divided (whiteaway).

A curvilinear bank, up to circa 8 metres in width, is visible as an indistinct earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013. It is parallel to a series of curvilinear field boundaries of medieval character depicted on the mid-19th century tithe maps.
