Name:Cairnfield 790m north west of Stoneyhurst

Summary

Bronze Age cairnfield consisting of a tight cluster of ten cairns between 0.3 and 1.2 metres high. Six of the cairns are circular and between 3 and 5 metres in diameter. The remainder are ovoid in shape between 4 and 5.5 metres long. Short lengths of rubble walling probably representing field boundaries are also present, though some of these may be of latter historic date. Scheduled.
