On the gentler eastern slope are decayed banks with ditch on upper side and lynchet below (gawne).

Vis=27/4/1953 (os) on steep west flank of hamel down are traces of field banks and of lynchets.

On the east side of the valley the furlongs are divided by substantial banks with stone faces and ditches running up the hillside (bonney in gregory).

Field system comprising fine examples of strip fields within the enclosed land. Appears to post-date the openworks as the openworks sx67ne/216, sx67ne/218, sx67ne/219 appear to form the field boundaries. Visible on raf 1950 and nmr 1980 ap (rchm app 1985).
