Vintage cast-iron road sign: 'Berealston; Beretown' with north/south/east/west compass points and decorative diamond-shaped finial. Situated in garden of Cherry Cottage.

Finger post in Bere Ferrers, about 50 metres south-east of turning to Station on east side of road, in garden behind wall. The post which dates to the 1930s as a white spearhead finial and the legend, Berealston/Beretown/NWSE, is picked out in black on a white background.
Date of most recent survey: 24th December 2004. In good condition, slight rusting at the joints.
