Oval enclosure recorded from air in 1995 (aph).

A pale oval cropmark is visible. Also visible on frames 17,19-21,27 &30.

A pale oval cropmark is visible within an area of darker crops on a single run of aerial photographs taken in 1995. It has previously been recorded as an enclosure, but caution should be applied to this interpretation, since the cropmark is very similar in appearance to cultivation marks in the same field. It may therefore be a superficial surface feature rather than having formed over a buried ditch of archaeological origin. The cropmark has not been transcribed as part of this project.
